Permaculture Design Certificate on Mallorca

We are launching the 2nd PermaMed Permaculture Design Certificate Course (PDC) of this year 2024, this time in English! We know many of you have been waiting for this, so we hope you can make it!

This course is the gateway to a fascinating diploma that will immerse you in the foundations of permacultural design! While quite dynamic, it is actually a course to both discover and practice the theory behind the permaculture design process, and to explore various crucial aspects of creating sustainable environments over time.
The course program, certified by internationally accredited educators within our team, will be facilitated during the months of September, October, November and December, the content organized between two weekends of each month (6 weekends in total).

PDC module weekend schedule:

Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m.

Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The dates are as follows (please note that to be certified you will need to have attended at least 5 of 6 modules):

M1: SEP 28-29 (INTRODUCTION)

M2: OCT 12-13 (SOIL & FOOD SYSTEMS)

M3: OCT 26-27 (WATER)

M4: NOV 9-10 (CONSTRUCTION & ENERGY)

M5: NOV 22-24 (PERSONAL & SOCIAL RESILIENCE, 2 nights in community)

M6: DEC 7-8 (PRESENTATION & CELEBRATION)

The modules will be held every Saturday at Finca Son Barrina, and on Sundays we will visit some of our Permahubs for practical application of what we have learnt. We will confirm which sites these will be (according to context, weather, content, etc.) later on. Almost all of our demonstration sites are located in the center of the island, around Inca (Llubí, Sencelles, Selva…).
